Unicorns, Rainbows & Marketing Golddust

(Or something like that)

You

A smart, ambitious small business owner who wants to get your message heard (and some sales!) but without the ick factor.

Me

Your champion, your advisor, your secret weapon. An online marketing superhero who will help you create and implement a feel-good marketing strategy that gets results, in less time.

sometimes things are just meant to be

Some of my earliest memories are of creating to do lists and “helping” mum organise family gatherings. Give me a fresh notebook and I’m a happy camper. Brand new school stationery was like Christmas!

I still remember my entrepreneurial aunt always telling me “You should start a business”. My response? No way! I don’t want that stress. Just give me a job where I can show up each day and earn my wage and I’ll be good.
How motherhood can change you…

Before embarking on my own business journey, I was working for 12 years in international corporations as a marketing department of one. I was responsible for everything from creating high level marketing plans to day to day maintenance of the website. And I had the qualifications to back me up.

With a FIFO hubby and a new baby on my hip, I knew I didn’t want to return to the workforce full time. It just wasn’t an option for us.
So I thought I’d give this online business thing a go.

After all, I had all my marketing experience. In my jobs, the budgets weren’t huge so I learnt to work around them. I had to DIY a lot of stuff and I had to learn the shortcuts.

I could do this.

But what I discovered was eye-opening.

Apart from the whole self-doubt, fear of being seen stuff that an introvert like me struggles with there is also the constant bombardment of things which we “should” be doing.

“You have to be on this social media platform”
“If you aren’t using this content strategy you are going to fail”
“Facebook ads will solve everything”
“You need to follow this exact formula and then you’ll hit 6 figures in 1 month”

B.S.

I was overwhelmed, confused and getting distracted from my own path.

And if, as a seasoned marketer, I was overwhelmed by all of this stuff, I couldn’t imagine what it was like for other small business owners.

Business owners who are amazing at what they do, have a vision and a contribution to make to the world but who just lack that marketing knowledge.

So I’ve made it my mission to cut through that crap and help small business owners like you focus on what will work for them.

I’LL TELL YOU THE TRUTH

Marketing really only comes down to 4 key things:

1. Knowing your message, your audience and what they want

2. Making it easy for your ideal customers to buy from you

3. Sharing your offer in the right places

4. Trying things, measuring results and adjusting from there

And this can all be done without pushy sales tactics, big budgets and hours spent on social media.

It just takes focus, direction and commitment.

Sound do-able?

I’ll give you the focus and direction if you bring the commitment.
Bonus points if you bring coffee or wine.

AS SEEN IN

I hired Yael needing a plan and direction in what to do specifically for me and my business. There are a lot of options and information out there that can make you feel overwhelmed with a huge to-do list that can then get put in the too hard basket.

Yael helped me pinpoint my target market, brand messaging and consistent look and feel. As a result I am now booking clients that are definitely on-point with my target market! I really enjoyed working with Yael and would highly recommend her services for anyone feeling overwhelmed with marketing and needing some clarity, direction and a tailored plan in place for their business.”
