Welcome back to Easy Email Marketing, I’m your host Yael Keon and today is a bit of a fun one where we are going to combat the biggest reason why I hear people don’t send emails – they don’t know what to send. In this I’m going to guide you through a process where you can plan all your 2022 emails in about 20 minutes.
Excuse busted!
For this one I recommend you grab a pen & paper (or some post it notes) and get stuck in. If you are listening while driving or walking you can definitely still listen and either come back to revisit this episode while you do the work or just remember the process.
It’s pretty simple and takes just 5 steps, outlined below, but explained in detail in the episode:
- Frequency of sending
- Key dates
- Themes
- Fill the gaps
- Get specific
Boom. Just like that, you’ve got a whole year of emails planned. Of course, this doesn’t mean you are stuck to this plan. I generally actually only do this for about 3 months in advance and even then some things change with the flow.
If you want guidance with any of this, including strategic planning, even more ideas, subject lines, email writing tips and even swipe files then The Email Experience membership is for you and now is a fantastic time to join as we are headed into a new year and you are full of those email plans.
In fact, this month if you are an Email Experience member, you are getting a 52 week email plan for 2022 so you don’t even need to go through this process!
Thank you for joining me today. I’d love to hear from you about what you have enjoyed from this episode or what you want to know more about or which software you want me to cover next please let me know over on Instagram @yaelkeon.
I’ll see you in the next episode.
